<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Victoria Falls</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 1 - After checking in at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, you will probably want to relax with your itinerary in one hand and a drink in the other while you gaze upon the lodge's waterhole in the Zambezi National Park. Once you've had a chance to settle in, you'll be at your leisure to stroll on through to the celebrated 'Boma - Place of Eating.' This is a dining experience unlike any other and if sampling the local delicacy of Mopane worms isn't quite your thing, perhaps enjoying more traditional cuisine to the accompaniment of African drums will be.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Victoria Falls</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 2 - This will be the day to visit the Victoria Falls National Park where you'll get the opportunity to see the famed curtain of water as the Zambezi plunges a hundred metres to the First Gorge below. In addition to witnessing the grandeur of the world's largest waterfall, you'll be able to take a casual stroll through the rainforest which has come into existence as a result of the continuous spray generated by the massive waterfall. After leaving the National Park, you'll have the chance to peruse the wares of the local vendors before planning your activities for day three.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Victoria Falls</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 3 - Your third day in Victoria Falls will see you enjoy a helicopter ride, a sunset cruise on the Upper Zambezi and perhaps a dip in the Devil's Pool for the more adventurous. This natural infinity pool is ranked as THE top experience in Africa and after having done it ourselves, we can't recommend it enough - it offers an exquisitely unique view of the falls and it'll get your heart racing too. After all of that adrenaline, you'll get to cap off the day with an evening in the Siduli Hide. Or, you could stay in Zambia at a property we happen to be quite partial to!</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Victoria Falls</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 4 - If they aren't included in your itinerary elsewhere, a day trip to either Hwange National Park or Chobe National Park in Botswana. Or you might simply prefer a change of scenery in the vicinity of the Victoria Falls? If you'd like to keep things local, a walk with lions or a ride with elephants might be more your thing. Alternatively, we could arrange a cultural visit to one of the region's villages for you. Whatever you ultimately decide on, your time in Victoria Falls is guaranteed to deliver and when coupled with its ideal central Southern African location, it's almost a must for any safari itinerary.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 1 - Your first day will see you enjoy breakfast at one of the city's trendy cafes, which should prepare you for either your hike or cable ride up Table Mountain. Once up the mountain, you'll probably want to explore a little and perhaps even stick around for a sunset photo. Either way, this excursion will be the focus of the day and you can round it up by enjoying a quiet family seafood dinner at one of Hout Bay's famed seaside restaurants.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Cape Town & Surrounds</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 2 - Options for your second day could include a drive along Chapman's Peak Drive toward Fish Hoek and then Simon's Town where you'll be able to paddle with the penguins at Boulders Beach. After exploring Simon's Town and swimming at Boulders, you'll probably be in the mood for some lunch and it would be difficult to go past Live Bait in Kalk Bay. Finally, you could finish the day with some colour as you wander Muizenberg Beach and then later, Bo Kaap in the city.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 3 - A driving day which will see you visit Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. First stop will be Franschhoek where you will have the chance to browse the wares of the town's unique trading posts. From Franschhoek you will carry on to Stellenbosch, a visit to which would be incomplete without booking in for a wine tour at Villiera.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 4 - If you still have the energy, there is still so much to explore in and around Cape Town. You could use your last day to relax on the beach at Llandudno, or you might prefer a visit to Cape Point, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront or Robben Island. You see, four days might not actually be enough...</image:caption>

An ideal stopover as a halfway point between the capital, Windhoek, and some of the attractions of the North such as Etosha National Park, Damaraland, the Skeleton Coast and Kaokoveld. Situated amongst the Omboroko Mountains, Okonjima is reknowned for its cheetah and leopard safaris, and for its commitment to research and conservation of the Big Cats.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 5&6 - What you came to do, track wild black rhinos in the desert. At the Desert Rhino Camp, you will have arrived in the area known for having the largest free-ranging population of black rhino in Africa. Whilst here, you'll have the opportunity to track the critically endangered animal either on foot or by vehicle. We also encourage you to meet the Save the Rhino Trust trackers and team, who have been, and continue to be, responsible for this remarkable conservation story.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 3&4 - Your next stop will be the gem that is Damaraland Camp, situated in the Torra Conservancy. Unique because its inspirational community partnership whereby the camp is largely owned and run by the local community, the camp is an oasis of eco-friendly luxury in the Namibian Desert. Whilst in Damaraland, you'll be able to go on nature drives to see desert-adapted elephants, visit a local Damara community, absorb the area's ancient rock-art and gaze in amazement at the clear night sky.</image:caption>

We'll have you stay at Onguma the Fort, which we've sourced for its utterly unique setting and architecture which draws from Moroccan and Indian styles. From the fort which is situated on the eastern edge of Etosha, you'll be able to enjoy time in the water-level Onkolo Hide, go on game drives in both the Onguma Reserve and Etosha itself, or simply relax and take in the stunning views of the always-wildlife-decorated Etosha Pans.</image:caption>

Here you will also have the chance to track wild rhinos but the twist is that these will be white rhinos. A larger but more placid species than its black counterpart, the experience is equally remarkable and the stark difference between Namibia's desert and the rocky outcrops of the Matopos will have you captivated.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 3-5 - Welcome to possibly Southern Africa's wildest and most remote national park, that being Gonarezhou. A personal favourite of quite a few members of the Diwa Zambezi team, the temperament of the elephants, the scale of the Chilojo Cliffs and the sheer silence of the place will have you redefining the meaning of awe-inspiring. <image:caption>Day 1-3 - After arriving in either the Zambian capital of Lusaka or the Zimbabwean capital of Harare, you will board a private charter flight to a bush airstrip in the Zambezi Valley. The flight itself will be your first adventure as you pass over the Zambezi escarpment and later, the enormous river itself. After completing your flyby and landing, you will be transferred to the mountains of the Mana Pools interior or the floodplains of the Lower Zambezi National Park, depending on your itinerary and preference. Whichever you choose, both are remote, private, blessed with abundant fauna and their fair share of local legends, and capable of helping you find a measure of peace on your safari.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 4-8 - Your time in opulence over, you'll now embark on what you came here to do; catch the mighty tigerfish. Based out of our private camp on the Zambezi, you will be personally guided on the river each day by Diwa Zambezi's fishing and photography guides. We cater to all three methods of fishing being fly, lure and bait, whichever is your preference. Importantly, we only use barbless circle hooks when bait fishing. Each day out on the river is different and you can expect to encounter all members of the Big Five (less rhino), many bird species and other fish species such as vundu, cornish jack and tilapia. Finally, the electric motors on our boats provide for excellent game viewing along the river's banks as animals can be approached in silence.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 1&2 - You begin your fully serviced mobile camping safari in Chobe National Park, one of the great wildlife destinations in Africa. Famed for its enormous elephant herds, the park itself is massive in scale and the size of a small country. This size has facilitated the preservation of ancient migration routes and you'll feel as though this place hasn't changed in thousands of years.</image:caption>

Savuti will definitely have you captivated as you absorb the distinctive vistas and vast expanses of land before you enter the Delta.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Our Lower Zambezi</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 1-3 - After arriving in Lusaka you'll board a private air charter into the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia. Here you'll be based on one of the remotest sections of the Zambezi and you'll have the privilege of enjoying rare wildlife spectacles in genuine peace and solitude. Your activity options will be abundant and include canoeing, boat cruises, game drives, bush walks, relaxing in your private pool, fishing and game drives by boat. You might also want to get comfortable with elephants venturing through the camp as they feed on the yellow pods of the Ana Tree, of which there are many in and around camp.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Our Lower Zambezi</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 4-6 - At this point you'll embark on a transfer the like of which you'll probably never experience again. After traversing 100km of the wild and beautiful Zambezi by boat, you'll arrive at a remote riverside border post which we'll use to cross into Zimbabwe where you'll be based in our private camp. After enjoying the myriad islands and wide Zambezi (3km in some sections) during days 1 through 3, here you'll have the opportunity to experience a narrower river as it passes through a gorge and all that comes with that. Expect birds of prey, leopards, rare antelope, agile elephants and samango monkeys.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Our Lower Zambezi</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 7-9 - Because the river transfer was so glorious the first time around, you'll get to do it again as we transfer you upstream to the eastern edge of Mana Pools National Park. Here you'll commence a three day walking safari on the Mana Pools floodplain, the only national park in the Africa in which you are permitted to walk unguided should you so choose. You'll be guided of course but it speaks to the fact that the Zimbabwe Parks authority has endeavoured to keep Mana Pools as wild and natural as possible. As a mobile camping experience, you'll get to see different parts of the park on each day ensuring varied landscapes, world-class game and bird sightings and certainly a story to bring home.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Kruger National Park</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 1&2 - Your Kruger NP safari starts in the park's southwestern corner where you'll visit the celebrated Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Famous for its exclusivity and leopard sightings, the park is also home to two perennial rivers being the Sabi and the Sand, both of which sustain a strong population all members of the Big Five. Another differentiating feature of Sabi Sand is that night drives are permitted - one of the reasons you can expect to encounter that most elusive of cat species, the leopard. Whilst in Sabi Sand, you'll be staying in genuinely historic accommodation nestled in lush riverine landscape of the Sand River.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Kruger National Park</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 3-5 - After your luxurious stay in the Sabi Sand, you'll move north to Kruger Park itself for three days in rugged natural beauty at Ngala Safari Lodge. An ideal place for families, days at Ngala are spent doing pretty much anything you can conceive. From dedicated photographic days to private game walks to participating in the darting of a rhino for research, Ngala really delivers. As home to large numbers of all members of the Big Five, your safari to Kruger promises much and you can expect to leave having seen your fill of elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and wild dog to name a few.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 1-3 - Given its proximity to Johannesburg and sophisticated infrastructure, Kruger is the perfect location for a self-drive safari. Don't be daunted - we'll book the vehicle, arrange the route and book your accommodation in the park for you. That will then give you the freedom to be your own tour guide and tick off the species on your respective bird and mammal lists. The first three days of your self-drive safari will focus on the southern part of Kruger, famed for its abundance of white and black rhinos. They're under constant threat however and Kruger is a bizarre combination of rhino haven and anti-poaching front-line because of its border with Mozambique. If you'd like to know more before your trip, visit the home of rhino conservation.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Kruger National Park</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 4-6 - From the game-rich (and sometimes people-rich) south, we'll direct you north to Kruger at its wild and rugged best. You might not get the same concentrations of animals here, but you'll find the animals all the same and your wildlife spectacles will be memorable for the fact that you will enjoy them in peaceful solitude. Equally as enticing is the change in scenery that you'll witness as you traverse northward. The terrain becomes more arid and the golden evening vistas somehow more enchanting. Once you've checked in to your desired camp in the north, you'll be able to book a guided bush walk with a qualified guide - an activity that is thoroughly worth your time. If you have the time and a passion for the wilderness, its flora and fauna and hiking, we can also arrange an extended wilderness walking trail for you.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 1-3 - After arriving in Zimbabwe's capital of Harare, you'll be transferred via light aircraft to the famed Zambezi Valley where you'll stay in genuine luxury at the confluence of the Ruckomechi and Zambezi Rivers. Travellers consistently describe this UNESCO World Heritage Site as pervading a sense of the wild and natural and your option of camps do their best to blend in with the Zambezi Valley environment, in particular the many Acacia Albida trees. In addition to the fabulous cuisine, you'll be treated to an abundance of activity options during your stay. These include boat trips on the Zambezi, game drives, bush walks in Mana Pools, catching a tigerfish, canoe trips and hunting for the resident carmine bee-eater colonies to name a few.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 4&5 - Time to depart via light aircraft transfer again, this time Victoria Falls bound. Here you'll have a couple of days, more if you choose, to experience the best of what this fabulous natural wonder of the world has to offer. Witnessing the falling sheet of water that is the world's largest waterfall is but one of the things to do during your stay. After having seen and experienced the middle Zambezi during your first three days, here you'll have exclusive access to 20km of the upper Zambezi. Upper meaning the section of the Zambezi above the Victoria Falls. As if a private river weren't enough, you'll also be at your leisure to explore the private Matetsi Game Reserve in the company of qualified Zimbabwean guide.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 1-3 - You'll be situated very near the Zambezi escarpment for your first three days of luxury camping at Chitake Spring, famed for both its elephant population density and predator population. In fact, smaller elephants are known to fall prey to the lions in this area from time to time. What makes this area so memorable is that the Chitake Spring is the sole major water source for 70km to the Zambezi River and the animals tend to come from all directions for water, especially as the dry season progresses. The diverse array of wildlife means that the predators really do come out to play and you can expect to see lion, leopard, wild dog and hyena. The greatest show however, is put on by the enormous grey herds of elephant and the black masses of buffalo.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 4&5 - After the wild and remote Chitake Spring, you'll transfer via light aircraft to the natural wonder of the Victoria Falls. Here you'll be based in one of Zimbabwe's tourism icons replete with its own activities desk. The Victoria Falls Safari Club is the premium property of Africa Albida Tourism, which is reflected in a personalised butler service and other premium inclusions such as three complimentary meals daily, cocktails, morning and afternoon teas and massage therapy. From helicopter flights, the Devil's Pool and white water rafting, to game drives in the Zambezi National Park, a drink at the Victoria Falls Hotel and a meal at the celebrated Boma - Place of Eating, your time in Victoria Falls will be action-packed and promises a lifetime of memories.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 6&7 - After the amazement of the Victoria Falls, you'll transfer by road to Zimbabwe's largest national park and home to the Presidential Elephant Herd, Hwange National Park. It's estimated that over 40,000 elephants reside here and the elephant population is certainly what the park is noted for. That said, Hwange is also home to over 100 other mammal species and 400 bird species making it an ideal inclusion in any African safari itinerary. Whilst here, you'll spend 2 nights in wild Africa at Khulu Ivory's luxury tented suites where you'll get to enjoy wildlife spectacles from your own private room. Other included activities are game drives, walking safaris, cultural visits and participation in the park's wild dog research program.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 8&9 - Next stop, Matobo National Park, one of Zimbabwe's Intensive Protection Zones for the critically endangered black and white rhinoceros. It goes without saying that rhino tracking is an included activity here and obviously it has been a perennial favourite with our guests. In addition to rhino tracking, you'll have the chance to explore ancient rock art sites, indulge in one of Camp Amalinda's renowned spa treatments or visit the burial place of Cecil Rhodes at World's View. The activity options aside, your accommodation is utterly breathtaking and amongst a prominent granite outcrop. The rooms will undoubtedly leave you speechless as they artfully and romantically blend with their environment.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Elephants Of Enormity</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 10-12 - You started your trip in one of Southern Africa's remotest locations, and you'll get to finish it with a place equally so. You may not have heard of Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe's extreme southeast, but that's because of its inaccessibility rather than its quality. The park lacks any volume of accommodation options and that has manifested itself in a destination unencumbered by the trappings of mass tourism - just the sort of place we try to always recommend to our guests. Regarding where we've chosen for you to stay, the sentiments of the founders at Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge are superbly reflected in the following quote: "Any journey into the heart of Gonarezhou, place of the elephants, begins with the realisation that this is wild country. It is one of Africa's last remaining pristine wildernesses and we are all privileged to be a visitor here. The animals are in their most natural state in Gonarezhou; these are no lazy photographic models, hassled by a constant cavalcade of jeeps, radioing one another in their relentless pursuits. This is a country of red sandstone, thorny scrub and baobabs. The presence of elephants is everywhere; on the earth and the vegetation, as their families travel along routes passed from one matriarch to another in search of food, safety and water."</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 1-3 - You'll start your Namibian elephant safari near the Huab River Valley in central Damaraland. As expected, one of the highlights here is to go on a game drive to see desert-adapted elephants in addition to gemsbok, springbok and the rare bat-eared fox. Other options that we really appreciate include sleeping out under the stars on your private deck and visiting the Damara Living Museum which documents the traditional culture of the Damara people.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 4-6 - Time for the Ongava Game Reserve on the border of well-known Etosha National Park. A surprising mix of animals abound here in one of Namibia's largest private game reserves. You'll be staying in family-friendly elegance at Andersson's Camp and while the focus for you might be Etosha's white sand-stained elephants, during your walks and game drives you're also likely to come across lions, black and white rhinos, giraffe and several spectacular species of antelope such as the black-faced impala.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Birds Of The Zambezi</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 1-3 - You'll start in the interior of Mana Pools very near the Chitake Spring and riverbed. Located only a few kilometres from the Zambezi Escarpment, this location will give you access to a variety of habitat types for birds. Some species you can expect to encounter during your luxury camping or lodge experience include red-necked falcon, lilian's lovebird, Livingstone's flycatcher, crested guineafowl and racquet-tailed roller to name a few. <image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Birds Of The Zambezi</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 4-6 - After your time near the Zambezi Escarpment, we'll transfer you to the Zambezi River itself where your canoe safari will give you ideal access to riverine and floodplain environments. This safari explores the shoreline of Mana Pools National Park and traverses 70km downstream to the Zambezi's confluence with the Chewore River. In addition to offering unparalleled game-viewing ambience, you can expect to encounter different bird species such as the African fish eagle, rufous-bellied heron, pel's fishing owl (if you're lucky!), African skimmer, long-toed lapwing and of course, the carmine bee-eater.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 7-9 - Upon reaching Chewore you'll be collected by us in one of our river boats and transferred to our private camp 70km downstream. This journey is remarkable in itself as the Zambezi River transforms from wide and shallow to deep and narrow as it enters the Mupata Gorge. During your three days here you'll be accompanied by our very own photographer, Andy, who is vastly experienced in this part of the Zambezi. The gorge presents a different environment once again and the dramatic rocky environment is home to 12 eagle species, 6 vulture species and a variety of others such as egyptian goose and rock pratincole.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 1-3 - Your safari starts with the mighty Victoria Falls where you'll be based at the multi-award winning Tongabezi or the gorgeous Toka Leya Camp. Not surprisingly, one of Tongabezi's awards was for 'Best Family Safari Lodge.' As with our other partners, bush walks, game drives and river cruises are all come as standard as part of your safari package with us. There is so much more to experience here however, depending on the age of the children. From white water rafting, bungee jumping and elephant back safaris, to helicopter flights, village visits and guided tours of the Victoria Falls themselves, the family will have a whale of a time.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 4-6 - After the Victoria Falls, you'll venture further into Zambia, either to Zambia's largest national park, Kafue, or the Lower Zambezi National Park. Both true gems of the Southern African wilderness, these parks are noted for their exceptional scenery, luxurious lodges, abundant birdlife and of course, a plethora of wildlife species sustained by the waters of the Zambezi and Kafue Rivers. Once again, activities such as fishing, boat cruises, canoeing, game drives and bush walks are all included in the price. And while here, you can expect genuinely unique wildlife spectacles, experienced in the company of just your family.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 7-9 - After your time in the Lower Zambezi, the family will board a private charter flight to Mfuwe, gateway to the world-renowned South Luangwa National Park. This is the home of the walking safari and where you and your children will learn of the way of Norman Carr, one of the pioneers of this wilderness area. Norman was enthusiastic about developing the potential in people and he was passionate about sharing and preserving this enchanting area through the offering of authentic safari experiences. You'll get all of that and more here as you explore the Valley of the Leopard, one of Luangwa's aliases, in the company of Norman Carr's legendary guides. <image:caption>Day 1-3 - In terms of walking, you safari starts at a slower pace with the majestic Victoria Falls. We did say 'walking' however, because your days here can be action-packed if you'd like them to be. After settling in to your award-winning accommodation, you'll be at your leisure to plan your activities. You could go all out with a bungee jump or elephant ride, or you could stick to that 'slower pace' we talked about and opt for a helicopter flight over the falls or sunset boat cruise on the Upper Zambezi. Totally up to you :).</image:caption>

Once in Mana, the focus will be on walking and the guides here are second to none. This static camp exudes rustic luxury and its point of difference is that each stay is fully customisable. You'll be able to choose from a selection of lodges here and each has its own distinctive flair. If tracking lions on foot would be the perfect end to your safari, check out the beautiful Luwi. Excited about a sleepout under the stars? Try Nsolo. Or perhaps prolific predator action combined with 5 star luxury is more your thing? Welcome to Chinzombo. <image:caption>Day 1-3 - We start in a big way with the rarest of the Big Five - the Black Rhino. In addition to the world's largest free-roaming population of Black Rhino, this is also home to a surprising array of other desert-adapted wildlife including lion, gemsbok (oryx), giraffe and elephant to name a few. You'll be based in the Ongava Private Game Reserve on Etosha's southwestern boundary, so your wildlife experiences will be abundant and experienced in complete privacy. <image:caption>Day 9-11 - After a short drive of a couple of hours, you'll arrive at Zimbabwe's largest national park, Hwange. Davison's Camp is located in one of the most game-rich areas of the park and you are guaranteed to see enormous herds of both buffalo and elephant, lions, leopards, and a variety of plains game. In fact, as home to over 100 mammal species, Hwange has the widest variety of mammals of any national park in the world. With over 400 species, birdlife is also prolific and with what you will have already experienced, you'll begin to feel like you're walking in the footsteps of an Attenborough documentary team.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 12-14 - In typical Diwa Zambezi fashion, we'll now be sending you to one of the world's wildest and most remote places, the Zambezi Valley. With the presence of the Zambezi River, a whole new safari dimension is added here and you'll undoubtedly finish your safari in glowing tones. A perennial favourite with guests, Mana Pools' magic stems from the sometimes indescribable - James will tell you of a magic that pervades on the Zambezi, the like of which he has been unable to find in other celebrated places on the globe. Imagine the capture of a creature as unique as a tigerfish, witnessed by a passing herd of elephants and accompanied by a lion’s roar in the distance. It seems unbelievable, but there are certain days on which it is a reality, and a step into the freedoms of a bygone era. We hope that says it all but if not, visit where you'll be staying :) - Enter Ruckomechi.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 1-3 - After arriving at Harare International airport, you'll board a private air charter into the remote Zambezi Valley in the extreme north of Zimbabwe. From the bush airstrip you'll embark on a short road transfer to the western edge of Mana Pools to commence your mobile canoe safari. This is a luxury mobile experience whereby you leave camp in the mornings after a hot chocolate around the fire, and then leisurely canoe your way to the next camp downstream. As you float into each camp location with the sunset behind you, an ice-cold drink, hot shower and dinner will be awaiting you. This 3 night, 4 day safari follows the Zambezi River through Mana Pools and ends once you reach the Zambezi's confluence with the Sapi River. Get your camera ready, you're likely to get that once-in-a-lifetime photo on this one!</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 4-6 - Your canoe completed, we'll transfer you to Little Ruckomechi to finish your safari in luxury and style. Nestled amongst the iconic acacia albida trees, the camp has access to the private Ruckomechi concession, allowing for exclusive game viewing experiences. As with many of the locations we choose for our guests, activity options are abundant and include boat cruises, game drives, birding safaris, specialised photographic safaris, tiger fishing, bush walks and private meals in the wilderness. Perhaps the peak of Little Ruckomechi's offering however, is its employment of Zimbabwean guides. The training for Zimbabwean guides is rigorous and includes the study of flora and fauna, dendrology, astrology and geology to name a few. In short, no question of yours will go unanswered.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Day 1-3 - If you're going to this part of the world, a trip would be incomplete without the famed Victoria Falls. Oh, to think what Livingstone must have thought when he first encountered them. Maybe something like 'Mosi-oa-Tunya', their Tonga name, or 'The Smoke that Thunders' in English. Staying at the Victoria Falls Safari Club or AndBeyond Matetsi, you will have an absolute ball here. From watching animals from the comfort of a hide to white water rafting, you are in complete control of what you do here. One thing we thoroughly recommend however, is a visit to The Boma - Place of Eating, an experience you won't easily forget!</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Houseboat Lake Kariba</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 4-6 - After Victoria Falls, you'll escape the hustle and bustle for something more intimate in Zimbabwe's largest national park, Hwange. Based at either Little Makalolo or Khulu Ivory, waterhole traffic abounds and as home to over one hundred mammal and four hundred bird species, your time in Hwange will astound. And if you've been to Africa before, you can do something a little different and go on a private early morning walk in search of a couple of Hwange specialists - sable and roan antelope. For the seasoned traveller, we can arrange a village visit or you can simply relax in Hwange's elegant luxury.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Houseboat Lake Kariba</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 7-9 - Time for what you came here to do - cruise the world's largest dam on a luxury houseboat. After transferring from Hwange to Kariba via light aircraft, you'll board your selection of houseboat. Houseboats come in all shapes and sizes and suited to all manner of budgets. One of our favourites however, is the MV Matusadona - the elegant lady of the lake. Whilst on board, you'll enjoy all-inclusive five star luxury with activities included. Whether your interest is fishing, birding, game viewing or simply relaxing on the pool deck with cocktail in hand, all of that comes as standard with the Matusadona. Depending on the conversations we have with you, we can also arrange an additional night in one of Kariba's permanent shoreline lodges for you.</image:caption>

<image:title>Top Safari Experiences - Houseboat Lake Kariba</image:title>
<image:caption>Day 10-12 - Kariba's proximity to Mana Pools allows perfectly for the epitome of a conclusion to a safari - Mana Pools. If you've never visited the mountainous interior of the park, we'll send you to Kavinga Safari Camp, an oasis of luxury perched atop a cliff of the seasonal Ruckomechi River. From here you'll also be able to explore the famed predator paradise that is Chitake Spring. Or if you have visited the interior, we'll send you to the floodplain on the Zambezi River where you'll have a choice between a five star permanent lodge or luxury all-inclusive camping. With either option, all of your needs will be catered for and your game-viewing experiences with Zimbabwean guides will be the best in the world, owing to their rigorous five year qualification process.</image:caption>
